Terms of Use

Last updated: 30 October 2026

In short

Astit is an AI companion that helps older parents with everyday confusion and keeps their family informed. It gives guidance, not guarantees, and it is not a doctor, a lawyer, a bank or an emergency service. A family member sets Astit up for a parent, and both of them need to be comfortable with that. You can stop using Astit and ask us to delete your data at any time.

1.Who we are and what these terms cover

Astit is operated by Intelbrook Systems Private Limited (“Astit”, “we”, “us”), Ruby Park, Park Street, Wakad, Pune 411057, Maharashtra, India. These Terms of Use apply to the Astit parent app, the Astit family app and dashboard, and this website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2.What Astit does

Astit has two main parts.

  • Ask Astit: a parent can point at a confusing call, message, letter or photo and get a calm spoken answer in Hindi, Marathi or English, with a caution level (Safe, Careful or Danger).
  • Daily Pulse: Astit speaks to the parent each day, in their language, with short check-ins that the family chooses (for example medicines, blood pressure, blood sugar, mood, visitors) and short companion content (for example a scripture verse or the day’s panchang and weather). The family sees a daily summary and is flagged when something looks wrong.

3.Who can use Astit

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account or to be a person who is cared for through Astit.
  • The person who sets Astit up (the family member or guardian) must be an adult who is authorised by the parent to do so, and must tell the parent what Astit is and what it records. The parent (the parent user) uses Astit on their own phone, linked to the family through a one-time Family Code, without creating a password.
  • A parent can ask the family member, or us, to stop Astit at any time.

4.Important: what Astit is not

Astit is not a doctor or an emergency service.

In a health emergency, call your local emergency number or a doctor. Astit does not call for help by itself.

  • Not medical advice. Blood pressure, sugar and medicine check-ins are for keeping a record and alerting the family. Astit does not diagnose, treat or advise on medicines or doses. In a health emergency, call your local emergency number or a doctor.
  • Not an emergency service. Astit does not call for help by itself and must not be relied on for emergencies.
  • Not financial, legal or banking advice, and not a guarantee against fraud. Ask Astit gives a best-effort opinion on whether something looks risky. It can be wrong in either direction. When unsure, Astit leans towards caution. Always check with your bank, the official source or a trusted family member before sending money, sharing an OTP or acting on a message. Astit does not block calls, messages or payments.
  • AI can make mistakes. Answers are generated by AI and speech recognition, and may mishear, misread or be incomplete, especially in noisy places or with unclear speech or photos.

Astit gives guidance, not a guarantee.

Always check with your bank, the official source or a trusted family member before sending money, sharing an OTP or acting on a message.

5.Your responsibilities

You agree to give accurate information, keep your account and Family Code private, use the Service lawfully, not misuse it (for example to harass, deceive or monitor someone who has not agreed), not try to break, copy or overload it, and not upload content you have no right to share or that is unlawful. Family members agree not to use Astit to pressure a parent or to secretly monitor an adult who has not agreed.

6.Accounts and Family Code

Family members sign in with their email through a one-time code. Parents link their phone with a one-time Family Code. Keep codes private. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

7.Pilot, plans and payment

Astit is currently free to use while we work with a limited number of families. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price, billing period, renewal, refund and cancellation terms before you are asked to pay, and you will not be charged unless you agree. We will tell you in advance before any change to prices.

8.Content you provide

You keep ownership of the voice recordings, photos, text and answers you provide. You give us permission to process them to run the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of them.

Your data is yours.

You keep ownership of what you provide, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time.

9.Our content and software

The Astit app, website, brand, voices, text and design belong to us or our licensors. You may use them to use the Service, but you may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or create copies of them. Scripture, panchang, weather and other companion content is informational and may contain errors; it is not religious, astrological or professional advice.

10.Third-party services

Astit uses trusted providers to run (for example cloud hosting, speech and AI services, and email delivery), listed in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for services you use outside Astit, such as your bank, phone network or messaging apps.

11.Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, and may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app or by email before it applies. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

12.Stopping and ending

You can stop using Astit at any time and ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, if the Service is misused, or to protect users or the Service. Sections that by their nature should continue (for example 4, 13, 14 and 15) continue after the Service ends.

13.Limits of our responsibility

Astit gives guidance, not guarantees, as explained in section 4. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

14.Governing law and disputes
